It has been a long time since I posted on this family web site.  Facebook, Instagram, the photo sharing world has taken my attention away but in the time of reflection of year's end I find myself enjoying this site and photo galleries. 

I simply wanted to post various events and photos that I liked.  Check out the gallery attached to this blog.

I pray God's hand on my boys in 2017; along with Lisa & I as we continue life's journey and walk with our creator.

Collin goes out on a high! from High School.  He was the class Salutatorian.  It was a wonderful weekend of celebration.

The Masters Meet and Qualifying for STATE

After CIF is a meet called The Masters meet.  Only the top 12 runners by fastest time from the combined results of Divisino 1 thru 4 qualify.  Then the top 6 go to California STATE finals.   Collin made The Masters!!! Amazing.

Then even more amazing, he SMASHED his best time and set a NEW School RECORD running the 3200 meter in 9:00:00 !!!  Yes, exactly 9:00 Flat!! He placed 4th overall in Masters, qualifying him for STATE.  The first time in school history a male distant runner made Track & Field STATE Championships!  What a way to run at the end of your Senior Year.

Collin smashed his old personal best with a huge run.  He negative split the race going 4:40 first mile then 4:32 second mile for a 9:12.73 !!

 

Irvine Invite - HOT HOT HOT 90 Degrees Plus

Collin ran his first 3200 meter of the season.  Not ideal conditions.  HEAT wave, almost unsafe.  He got 2nd place with a 9:30, finishing with a 65 last lap in brutal conditions.

2014 Indoor Ivy League Track Championships - HEPS

Brandon ran a personal best of 8:12 in the men's indoor 3k.  Amazing race.  Mom flew out to watch it.  Brandon won heat 1 and place 5th overall!!
